You can complete the theory course and exam over two days and providing you pass the exam and the weather holds we conduct the assessment at the end of the second day. So ideally two days but we may have to go into a third to complete the flight assessment if theweather isn’t kind to us. You must have completed your Operations Manual before the flight assessment and we’re here to help with that. Once you’ve finished the above you apply to the CAA and that’s that. At the moment the CAA turnaround is very quick about a week or two although it may be longer. Alternatively use our online learning option and study at your own pace.

Our GVC costs £499 or £599 if combined with A2 CofC (NO VAT) and that includes the theory course, exam, help with preparing your Operations Manual and the flight assessment. No, we will teach you everything you need to know during the course. We supply all you need. Bring only yourself, your drone, if you have one, and preferably a laptop or tablet to download and use the apps which we guide you through. Please make sure you have completed the CAA Drone and Model Aircraft Registration and Education Scheme (DAMARES) before coming and bring you Operator and Flyer IDs with you. Under the new regulations the minimum age for a remote pilot to hold an A2 C of C is 13 and 14 for a GVC but you must be 18 to be an Operator.
